Island Living: Alcatraz Edition 10/05/2010
If I was an old-timey bank robber, I'd take a few extra risks because if I got caught, I'd be forced to go to an island paradise in the pacific ocean called ALCATRAZ ISLAND. Not only did they get to play in the yard overlooking the golden gate bridge, but they had arts and crafts time (where they could make paper mache heads that could later be used as a decoy for escape) and landscaped the luscious gardens. Who would even have time to widdle a shiv, when you have this to gaze out at?! This is me and Jacki, island living! Favorite Hobbies for Alcatraz Inmates: 1. Training Carrier Seagulls to bring fresh shrimp up from the wharf to the tiny window in the D-block 2. Laughing from afar at all the traffic that SF residents have to deal with, and those hills! 3. Using cardboard boxes to make "cable derby cars" and race them down the embankment 4. Mai Tai Mondays in the cafeteria, followed up by a karaoke dance party (Bank Robbers vs Counterfeiters) 5.
